Teresa and Todd are philanthropists committed to fostering an inclusive community where all individuals can thrive. Their dedication was further amplified when their adult son came out as gay. This personal experience motivated them to serve as Executive Producers for the films FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO and 1946: THE MISTRANSLATION THAT SHIFTED CULTURE. Now, they are pleased to join Karslake as collaborators on this new documentary, with the sincere hope that it will facilitate understanding and connection between diverse individuals.

Daniel Karslake is a Berlin-based American filmmaker whose latest feature, FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO, about four religious families who discover they have a gay or trans child, premiered in competition at the Tribeca Film Festival and won numerous film festival prizes around the world. His first film, FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, has been translated into 25 languages, and was short-listed for an Academy Award. Ashley Moradipour is a Brooklyn-based documentary film editor. Her work has premiered at Tribeca, DOC NYC, and DC/DOX. She's worked with award-winning production companies such as Loki Films, where she co-edited Emmy-nominated ENDANGERED (Tribeca 2022, HBO) and Gidalya Pictures, where she edited the 2-part documentary series ONE SOUTH: PORTRAIT OF A PSYCH UNIT (HBO). Ashley was a member of the 2022 Karen Schmeer Film Editing Fellowship and was placed on DOC NYC's 40 Under 40 list honoring up-and-coming creatives in the documentary industry. She has a passion for verite-style, character-driven narratives, and has recently expanded the scope of her work to include scripted film editing.

Nancy Kennedy is an award-winning editor based in New York. Her many credits include Sundance Grand Jury winner Why We Fight, For the Bible Tells Me So, “The Jinx,” a 6 -part HBO series, Gregory Crewdson: Brief Encounters, She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry, Orchestra of Exiles, and Who Does She Think She Is? Recent projects include Harry & Snowman, To Which We Belong and For They Know Not What They Do. Nancy has also worked at all the major networks - for American Experience, American Masters, National Geographic, Saturday Night Live, and others.

Claudia Lopez is a Brooklyn-based archival producer whose work brings historical and contemporary stories into focus. She has contributed research, sourced archival material, and guided editorial storytelling for PBS FRONTLINE, Amazon Prime, and Oxygen. Recent projects include FRONTLINE (2025–2026), Emma Coronel: Life with El Chapo (Oxygen, 2026), and Season Two of Shiny Happy People (Amazon, 2025). Across her work, Claudia is drawn to the details that illuminate complex narratives and the moments that make them resonate.

Matt Sosa (They/Them) is a Brooklyn-based documentary assistant editor and editor for film and television. Their work has premiered at Sundance Film Festival (The Librarians), on HBO (Icahn: The Restless Billionaire), and on Peacock (Prime Crime). They were the lead assistant editor on the 2022 Emmy-nominated special They’re Watching Us for Vice Media, and also an assistant editor for Vice News Tonight. They are proud to serve as Member Delegate for the New York City division of Blue Collar Post Collective, a nonprofit aiming to make the world of post-production more accessible to industry newcomers. As a member of the LGBTQ community, they aspire to work on projects that bring awareness to those traditionally lacking a voice in popular culture.

Israel Ehrisman is a documentary producer and technical specialist with a career-long dedication to independent storytelling and film preservation. His recent work as a Co-Producer on the New Yorker documentary short SEAT 31: ZOOEY ZEPHYR (2024) earned a spot on the 97th Academy Award shortlist and winning major honors, including Best Documentary Short at the Palm Springs International ShortFest and the Jury Award at Frameline. He also worked alongside director Kimberly Reed and Big Sky Film Productions on DARK MONEY (2018), which premiered at Sundance, earned four Critics' Choice nominations, and was also shortlisted for the Academy Award.

He recently launched Post Host, a cloud-based platform that gives film and video teams fast, flexible access to professional post-production workflows from anywhere.

Kaya Caouki is a recent graduate of Duke University, majoring in Visual & Media Studies (Cinematic Arts concentration) and Political Science. He is currently in the agent training program at United Talent Agency (UTA) in Los Angeles. He has experience working in both the scripted and unscripted space across various branches of the industry, from talent management to development.
